🌞 September Special: Join Maintenance Plan

“A hand up, not a handout.” - Tarence K.

More Than a Car Wash

Since 1999, Super Shine has been caring for cars in Tucson while creating opportunities for people facing barriers to employment, including people experiencing homelessness and people returning to the community after incarceration.

The idea is simple: give people an opportunity to work, learn, earn, and build what comes next.

A clean car is only part of the story

SHOW UP ⇨ LEARN ⇨ WORK ⇨ EARN ⇨ BUILD CONFIDENCE ⇨ MOVE FORWARD

Sometimes a Job Is the First Step

Some people need income. Some need experience. Some simply need someone willing to give them an opportunity.

Tarence shared the story of one worker who came to Super Shine while living in his car. During his time at Super Shine, he worked on habits like discipline, responsibility, and being on time. He later moved into another job and continued moving forward.
